Why We Do This

I grew up active—playing sports, training, running, always pushing my body. But I also had a serious sweet tooth. Candy was my comfort, my escape. The problem was that the foods I loved didn’t align with the lifestyle I was trying to build. They worked against my goals instead of supporting them. I didn’t believe the answer was cutting everything out. I believed the answer was building something better.

So I spent two years creating an alternative—something that genuinely felt like candy, but fit into a healthier lifestyle. That’s how TRUS was born: a protein-packed, zero-sugar, low-calorie snack designed to satisfy cravings without sacrificing progress.

But TRUS was never just about food. I built this brand during a time when I was struggling mentally and emotionally. I felt stuck, unmotivated, and disconnected from myself. What pulled me out of that place wasn’t perfection or discipline—it was movement. Training. Running. Playing the sports I loved. Showing up imperfectly, but consistently. That experience shaped what TRUS stands for today.

We believe health isn’t about extreme restriction, guilt, or saying no to everything you enjoy. It’s about balance. It’s about living in a way that supports your body, your mind, and your happiness—without making life smaller.

At TRUS, we live by a 90/10 mindset:

  • 90% focused on health, growth, movement, and self-improvement
  • 10% reserved for fun, indulgence, and enjoying life without guilt

Because real health isn’t rigid. It’s sustainable. It’s human.

Some days, balance looks like crushing a workout and fueling your body right. Other days, it’s choosing rest, eating something just because you enjoy it, or simply getting through the day. Both matter. Both count. TRUS is about enjoying the journey, not punishing yourself through it.

We’re building more than a snack. We’re building a community and a mindset for people who want to grow, who want to feel better physically and mentally, and who understand that becoming your best self doesn’t require being perfect.

This is for the people who push themselves, but also give themselves grace.
For those who train hard, live fully, and refuse to believe that health means missing out on life.

If you’re on your own journey—physical, mental, or both—TRUS is here to support you along the way.

Welcome to TRUS.
Live balanced. Live fully.
